I-pad help

Can any I-pad brains please advise me if it is possible to receive the bbc I-player, itv.catch up etc, as I bought and registered it in the uk, and i haven't quite got to grips with it yet, it comes up with the caption only available in the u.k., is there a way round this, apart from going back to the cold,grey uk!

Hi Sylvia, I'm afraid you still can't get it here after registering it in the uk. You need an app like "expat shield" or "film on" or something similar which hides your ISP which prevents you from accessing anything in the uk. Even though its registered in the uk, the sites you try to access know that you are not there. If you google the above you should find their websites. Hope this is usefull for you.

Yes, but you would have to subscribe to a UK proxy server service to fool the players you are in the UK. Google Scothosts, they do one.
