Thanks Sue & Myra, unless you need a service you don't tend to know where these people are., and unfortunately I do not have the time to walk around looking, so thanks for your help.

E-mailed this lady last night as I was working today and unable to go to the shop. She has not bothered to reply so I will go to the one up by Super Value tomorrow. Some people do not seem to want business.

Hi Eve, surprised Sam has not come back to you, her tel no's are 96679 0635/634324294. I can vouch for Sam. She delivers to the door to order and her flowers are never more that 1 day old so totally fresh and she is very reasonable. Don't give up and try her again.

Hi eve, i have checked my e-mail account and also my facebook page and have received no enquiries from you,...are you sure you e-mailed the right address? [email protected] i would be happy to cater for your order and as you can see here i come highly recomended,..you can also contact me on 634324294. the flower shop that is by supervalue from what i have been told consists of mainly selling potted plants and the sale of pots although they do have a small selection of fresh stems,..but as i have been told by another forum user they would not consider using the shop for bouquet orders ( their words not mine ) i hope this helps you out, and feel free to give me a call anytime. Sam

Sam.

Are you able to have flowers delivered to the UK or do you just deal with the surrounding areas.

Commented Andi in La Marina 2013-01-09 07:43:37 UTC

hi andi,..i only supply flowers around the local area,...but i think if you pop into cornish pride down the steps from consum,..i'm pretty sure they have a floristry contact service that does deliveries in the UK

Commented sam.smith5 in La Marina 2013-01-09 07:52:29 UTC

Hi Sam I suggest you check with Steve about your advert on this forum as I e-mailed you through that. Like you I work most mornings of the week and find it difficult to get to you. This is not an order for myself. I will explain when I see you. Hopefully i can find time to call in the shop today. Cheers Eve

I wish i was as b...... clever as you dragardian. My reasons for doing things the way I did are non of your business so keep your sarky comments to yourself.

Commented Caroline in La Marina 2013-01-09 12:17:37 UTC

Steve if you are not going to forward messages through your advertisers on this forum then may I suggest you delete them from your services section.

Commented Caroline in La Marina 2013-01-09 12:33:28 UTC

i was not aware that i was being sarcastic eve, just stating a matter of fact and trying to help you get the task at hand sorted,..i have deleted my last comment as i don't want this to turn into one of the usual arguments that runs for days and days on here,..with the possibility of it casting a shadow over the good business that sam has managed to establish

Commented dragardian in Alicante 2013-01-09 13:03:18 UTC

Eve
It may be that Samantha put her particulars on the ^^services^`of this forum,if you clicked on to that, you would of been ask for some details, these details I gather go to Spanish Life, who would of contacted samantha to say someone wants some details of her work, but that Samantha would have to pay a charge to receive the information from You.I imagine that Samanthas work is not a great profit maker and therefore she would not want to waste money on paying for a lead that may not progress,so didnt reply to spanish life.
Steve at Spanish Life has already stated that the charge he makes goes to his charity

Commented Alan in La Marina 2013-01-09 15:17:01 UTC

Alan I can see where you are coming from and I can understand Sam not wanting to pay but that leaves the person using these services, whatsoever service it may be, not knowing whether they are going to get an answer or not, Therefore I think that anyone not wanting to pay should get there details removed from this forum. With the best will in the world no-one has a crystal ball and cannot be expected to think of the pro's and con's of the system and it can be very frustrating waiting for an answer that you are unaware is not going to come. This will result in that business being at a disadvantage, so surely it would be better removed. I do not want to go on and on about this, it has been sorted now but, I think that all listed services , if they are not willing or able to pay, should have their names removed from the list.

Commented Caroline in La Marina 2013-01-09 15:45:19 UTC

Sounds a bit harsh to remove their names. I think its right for the site to make money, but what if there were ten florists listed on the services page and you wanted a quote from all ten?
Perhaps the potential customer should be informed that the service provider is going to be charged.
Or maybe just a yearly fee for the service providers.

Commented marko in Quesada 2013-01-09 20:46:20 UTC

A business that gets a lead from this site can either buy the lead for a fixed fee or offer a commission (donation) that they can decide, they then get to see the contact details, if they make no money they pay nothing.

Can this be done in the local news paper or on the radio? I think not. You only get what you pay for.

I have never advertised a business in this way, and I would not want to but, it is personnel choice. But it can be very frustrating for potential customers to wait for something that may or may not happen. I still think the advertisers should have their name removed if they do not intend to pay for the lead. This would stop any confusion. You don't any of you have to take any notice of what I say but it will not do any of your business's any good. People want to know, they do not want if's, but's, or maybe's. I would like to point out that I am, in no way, criticising Steve for trying to make money for his charity.

Commented Caroline in La Marina 2013-01-10 06:21:32 UTC

I agree with you Eve, we have had many leads that have not been answered by the business, this does not give the customer a good impression, we do have a delete option at the bottom of all services, so anyone not wanting to be listed can take their advert from the site.
