Charity Function

Hi everyone, last Monday evening 26 March a few of us went along to support Michelle and Linda from P.A.W.S. at Los Rosales, Lemon Tree Road. They raised over 1,000 euros and there was lots of great entertainment, food, music and dancing and a raffle.
I was pleased to win a voucher for a cut and blow dry courtesy of Jo the mobile hairdresser and we were very pleased with the new hair do. A great job thank you very much.
P.A.W.S. is a very worthy cause and takes care of the cats living on the street and measures are taken so that we don't end up over-run with thousands of cats creating mayhem but everything has a price and they have to pay for neutering etc and they have to win the cats confidence over by feeding them before being able to trap them. Believe me when I say that it sounds like its a long process and costly too but it is necessary if they are to keep the cat population from spiralling out of control.
More support should be given to Linda and her team. The next P.A.W.S. fund raiser is on Saturday 28 April 2012 so do come along and meet the team, you'll have a great night too and you may be the next winner of a free "hair do".
