just got back from our visit to marquesa golf and paid a visit to the punjab palace having recently open recommend you book in advance if you are thinking of going over the weekend .
Regards the restaurant itself, it has been done out to a high standard and looks a lot more professional than mr singhs the staff are friendly and attentive .
Theres a good choice on the menu i had the jalfreizii and being my first visit i wanted to try the meal as it was served regards how hot it was. if you like currys on the hot side i would suggest you ask for extra chillies or extra spicy in other dishes and they will happily oblige.
They do english food but its quite a plain menu .They do a chicken dish as a starter that has very little spice on it, and they will cook for you as a main as a non curry eater my wife found this very nice and would have it again.
our overall experience was an excellent evening in nice surroundings great service by the waiters followed by a complimentary brandy for me and a baileys for the wife.
